Faith-Informed Counseling
What Faith-Informed Means Here
My work is shaped by my Christian faith, which influences how I listen, offer guidance, and understand healing. Faith informs my values and the way I show up in the therapy space, but it’s never forced into sessions. You don’t have to share my beliefs for therapy to be effective or supportive.
How Faith May Be Integrated
Faith in therapy is always client-led. For some, that means briefly acknowledging spiritual beliefs when making sense of stress, suffering, or life direction. For others, it may include prayer, Scripture, or conversations about purpose and calling.
If faith is meaningful to you- or something you want space to explore- we can thoughtfully integrate it in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and aligned with your goals.
Who This Approach Is For
This approach tends to work best for adults who value thoughtful reflection, honesty, and personal responsibility. Many clients are navigating anxiety, chronic stress, health challenges, or questions about direction and meaning in life.
Faith-informed counseling may be a good fit if you want therapy that considers the whole person- mind, body, relationships, and spiritual life- without pressure or assumptions.
Who This May Not Be a Fit For
This work may not be a good fit if you’re looking for therapy that avoids challenge, stays surface-level, or places responsibility solely outside of yourself. While faith can be part of the work, this is not pastoral counseling or religious instruction.
Therapy here remains clinical, grounded, and focused on growth.
Getting Started
I offer online therapy for adults in Florida. If you’re unsure whether faith-informed counseling is the right fit for you, we can talk it through. You’re welcome to ask questions and decide at your own pace.
FAQ’s about therapy for life transitions

By the time most of my clients enter treatment, they have already been working with medical professionals to address symptoms related to their illnesses. Many of my clients have tried multiple medical providers. By the time they enter therapy, they are mentally burnt out from their illness and come to therapy to have space to process their anger and trauma related to their illness.
I do not claim to heal illnesses or disease. This is not a promise of a cure. This is not medical treatment or replacement for medical treatment. Rather, I am claiming that I firmly believe in your bodies ability to heal at some capacity- if it’s provided with the right tools and in optimal functioning.
When we strengthen the brain and nervous system, reduce stress in our environment and body, and implement intentional and daily practices- clients with the following diagnoses have reported improvement in daily functioning from symptoms related to:
-Lymes Disease and co-morbid infection
-Mold Toxicity
-Chronic Pain
-Food sensitivities and digestive issues
-POTS
-Chronic anxiety and panic
-Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
-Trauma
-Allergies and histamine responses

Our online sessions take place using a HIPAA-secure platform, much like Skype or Zoom. Prior to your scheduled appointment, a private link will be sent to your e-mail. At the scheduled time, simply click the link to enter our virtual therapy room.
Online therapy gives you access to the support you need, when you need it. Some people prefer the flexibility of online sessions, especially when dealing with child care needs, varying work schedules, or transportation difficulties. Others simply feel more comfortable discussing issues from the familiarity of their home. Whatever the reason, online therapy is still an effective alternative to in-person therapy.
