Why I Do This Work

This work feels natural to me. I’ve always been drawn to understanding people- how they think, how stress shapes them, and what helps them feel steadier and more clear over time. Over the years, I’ve come to recognize that many of my natural strengths- listening carefully, noticing patterns, asking thoughtful questions, detailed and grounded- are the same skills that allow therapy to be effective.

My work is also shaped by lived experience. I understand the weight of responsiblity, the complexiety of relationships, and what it’s like to navigate seasons ofstress and health challenges while still needing to show up for daily life. Therapy became a place where my training, faith, and life experiences came together in a way that felt purposeful and aligned.

This isn’t just what I do- it’s how I’m wired to help.

How I Show Up in the Therapy Room

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear story when you come to therapy. You dont’ need to know where to start or have everything make sense. Come as you are- I’ll meet you where you’re at.

I see you as a real person, not a problem to fix. What you’re experiencing makes sense given what you’ve been carrying, even if it feels messy or confusing right now. We’ll take time to get on the same page so you feel understood before we focus on moving forward.

I’ll bring structure, honesty, and guidance to our work together, but there’s no pressure to perform or do therapy “the right way”. This is a collaborative process- we both show up, we both do the work, and we move at a pace that allows for real, steady change.

Just show up- we’ll sort it out together.
